New funding opportunity for civil society in Europe to shape AI

The European AI & Society Fund is now accepting grant applications under their new Ecosystem Grants Programme. These are grants up to €30.000 available to civil society in Europe to shape Artificial Intelligence so that it better serves people and society.

Applications for grants
The European AI & Society Fund, of which Adessium recently became a member, is encouraging organisations working on AI and public interest from a wide range of fields and angles to apply. The new Ecosystem Grants programme is designed to help organisations that want to respond rapidly in this dynamic and changing field. Applications can be submitted on a rolling basis and decisions will be issued every two months (until all the available funding is granted). Applications received by 31 July 2023 will be evaluated in the first round.

Support from Adessium
In our Public Interest program we support organizations that contribute to a safe and responsible digital society, such as The European AI & Society Fund. This fund finances NGOs that are committed to a good European AI law. In addition, AI & Society Fund supports organizations from our other programs that deal with AI in their field, such as Platform for International Cooperation on Undocumented Migrants (PICUM), a partner from our Social Initiatives program.
