European Policy Centre
With 28 Member States in 2017, the European Union faces a major challenge: agreeing on effective policies that take the interests of all Europeans into account as much as possible. Any decision-making process requires a place for different parties to come together and discuss important social issues.
The EPC is an independent think tank dedicated to fostering European integration through analysis and debate. The EPC aims to support and challenge European decision-makers to make decisions based on evidence and analysis. The EPC has a special position in the field of European integration due to its constant efforts to involve a broad range of interested parties in the European debate, including citizens, NGOs, foundations, policy makers, academics and businesses. Based on its own expertise and research the EPC provides independent analyses and makes policy recommendations to various parties for solutions to complex issues.
The combination of research and sharing its findings through seminars, conferences, media appearances and interaction with EU institutions and governments makes a significant contribution to achieving change. The EPC has played a key role in putting intra-EU migration, the protection of human rights during asylum procedures and economic and social fragmentation between and within EU Member States on the political agenda.
Adessium’s work with the EPC leads to an interesting exchange of expertise and knowledge. Adessium contributes its expertise and knowledge to various events and projects organized by the EPC. The EPC provides clarity on European decision-making processes and policies. This enables us to fine tune our strategy and results in Adessium having a more effective portfolio.
