Adessium Foundation is an independent philanthropic fund supporting social organizations in the Netherlands and Europe since 2005. We strengthen initiatives that contribute to a free, sustainable and just society. We do this with financial support, advice and access to our network.

Organizations that we support

  • Bits of Freedom

    Bits of Freedom works toward an open and just information society. They do this through advocacy, campaigns, and legal action, both in the Netherlands and in Brussels.

  • IMC Weekendschool

    IMC Weekendschool prepares young people for the most important step after school: making choices about their future based on their own talents and interests.

  • ClientEarth

    ClientEarth uses the power of law to bring about systemic change that protects the earth for – and with – its inhabitants.

  • ChemSec

    Through independent research, cross-border collaboration, and practical tools, ChemSec promotes the development of more progressive legislation on chemical substances. They also work with companies to switch to non-toxic alternatives.
